Mario Cortolezzis - Executive Director - K9 UNIT
Our Executive Director is the principal executive officer of the organization and shall supervise all affairs of the organization by presiding over all meetings of the general membership and Board of Directors. The Executive Director is empowered to sign, along with another officer official documentments that the Board of Directors has authorized to be executed. Mario is also the handelar of our K9 Dog Angel.
Ben Karnes - Board Chair - Safety & Education Director
Our Board chair, in the absence of the Executive Director, shall perform the duties of the Executive Director and when so acting shall have both the powers and the responsibilities of the Executive Director. The Board Chair shall perform other duties as may be requested by the Executive Directoror the Board of Directors.
Derek Lee - Operations Manager
Our Vice Chairs in the absence of the Board Chair and the Executive Director shall perform the duties of both officers and when so acting shall have both the powers and the responsibilities of the Executive Director . The Vice Chairs shall perform other duties as may be requested by the Executive Director or the Board of Directors.
Randy Sorensen - Emergency Management Director
Our Vice Chairs in the absence of the Board Chair and the Executive Director shall perform the duties of both officers and when so acting shall have both the powers and the responsibilities of the Program Director. The Vice Chairs shall perform other duties as may be requested by the Executive Director or the Board of Directors.
Paul Zunker - Public Safety Liaison
Our Public Safety Liaison shall perform such duties as may be requested by the Executive Director or the Board of Directors. attend city council meetings, or any organizational meetings that could help residents in such communities have a voice with the SAFER program Board of Directors and the operation of the program. He shall also oversee our public relations department, and create awareness and interest in S.A.F.E.R. among the press, the media and the general public on an on-going basis; answering enquiry’s from individuals, governmental departments, journalists and media and production organizations and companies. Lisa Inman - Community Resource Supervisor E-Mail (ON LEAVE OF ABSENCE)
Our Community Resource Supervisor shall perform such duties as may be requested by the Executive Director or Board of Directors. She will communicate with families and caregivers on the program to schedule support groups, meetings, educational programs, training or SAFER demonstrations. They shall report directly to the Executive Director , and all dealings must be approved by the Board of Directors. Also, shall perform such duties as may be requested by the Executive Director or the Board of Directors including, keeping a roster of the general membership with such pertinent information as addresses, phone numbers, certification, activities, etc., and seeing that all official notices are duly given in accordance with our by-laws or as required by law. Also, must keep record of minutes of at Board meetings, and send minutes to our newsletter editor and Board of Directors, via e-mail.
Tim Gerber - Public Relations Manager
Under the general direction of the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, the Public Relations Manager is responsible for the acquisition of non-restricted or discretionary funding from corporate sponsors, foundations and other funding entities. This position is also responsible for all internal and external fundraising and charitable events associated with individual sectors and the overall organization. He shall create awareness and interest in S.A.F.E.R. among the press, the media and the general public on an on-going basis; answering enquiry’s from individuals, governmental departments, journalists and media and production organizations and E-Mail
Tanya Gerber - Comminity Relations Manager
Our Community Relations Manager shall perform such duties as may be requested by the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
